Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology x MABECS Global Scholarship

We’re pleased to announce that this scholarship has now been extended into 2026 intakes.

Value of Award

10 x NZ10,000 scholarships to partially cover the tuition fees associated with the study of any full-time Certificate, Diploma, Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Master’s programme at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) starting 2025 or 2026. This is a one-time award.

Eligibility Criteria

Please note that students already registered and studying a programme at NMIT in New Zealand are not eligible for this award.

In order to be eligible, candidates must:

  • Have applied and secured an offer for a course of study of at least 120 credits (one year full-time study) that is available to international students at NMIT through MABECS Global.
  • Be classed by the institution as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees, living costs, and other expenses not covered by the scholarship.
  • Start their studies at NMIT in October 2025, February 2026, July 2026, or October 2026. Please note that October intakes only apply to the Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Management and Master of Applied Management.
  • Be domiciled in Malaysia.
  • Submit their scholarship application through MABECS Global by the following deadlines:
    • October 2025 intake: 4 July 2025
    • February 2026 intake: 7 November 2025
    • July 2026 intake: 3 April 2026
    • October 2026 intake: 3 July 2026

How to Apply

To apply, candidates must:

  • Ensure they meet all eligibility criteria.
  • Be registered with and have their application attached to MABECS Global.
  • Prepare a 500-word essay on what this scholarship means to them and why they deserve it, to be submitted to MABECS Global (enquiries@mabecsglobal.com) by the applicable deadline.

Awarding

  • Selection for the award will be based on applicants' essay responses.
  • Finalists will be asked to attend an interview.
  • The scholarships will be awarded upon the students' enrolment in their respective intakes.
  • In accepting and securing this scholarship, awardees are expected to support the institution and MABECS Global, to a reasonable extent and for a reasonable period of time, by providing profiles and testimonials, and engaging in ambassadorial activities if requested by NMIT or MABECS Global.

Edunation Study in Finland Scholarship

Value of Award

50-100% program fee reduction for the Pathway to Bachelor’s Program. This is a one-time award.

Eligibility Criteria

Please note that students already registered and studying a pathway program in Finland by Edunation are not eligible for this award.

In order to be eligible, candidates must:

  • Have applied for the Pathway to Bachelor’s Program offered by Edunation through MABECS Global, and secured an offer.
  • Be classed by the institution as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship.
  • Start their studies in August 2025 at a study hub in Finland/online.
  • Be domiciled in Malaysia.
  • Submit their scholarship application through MABECS Global by the following deadlines:
    • Studyhub based in Finland / Online: 31 March 2025
